THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH 

AIM:: To teach us that righteousness and absolute trust in God is vital to please God.

TEXT: Gal. 3:10-12, Rom 4:17-21; Heb. 11:1-40.

MEMORY VERSE: For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith as it is written, the just shall live by faith". Rom. 1:17.

INTRODUCTION

God hates impurity and loves righteousness He resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. Heb 1:9a, 1Pet. 5:5b; Prov. 4:34: God wants His children or people to be right and just; depending on Him for all things. The scripture encourages us to put our trust in God, that He will never withhold any good thing from them that walk uprightly. Ps. 84:11. A person you do not believe in, you cannot trust. All we need, both Spiritual and temporal must come from God Habakkuk made us to know that God is of purer eyes than to behold evil..... Hab. 1:13. He commanded us to be holy because He Himself is holy. God may not need us, but we necessarily need Him, for we cannot do without Him To draw close to God, requires casting off the evil or dirty garment of sin, trusting the trustworthiness and faithfulness of God. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Be a friend of God! Live right and put your trust in God today.

They fear God and respect or honour the dignity of fellow men Just people are down-to-earth. They do what they say, and say what they do. Such life is approved by God Almighty


2. ABRAHAM, THE FATHER OF FAITH: Rom 4:17-21. The Bible records that Abraham, bellaved God and it was counted unto him for righteousness Rom 4:3. God does not and cannot change whatever He says or promises, He as able to fulfill. Num 23 19 Abraham believed God to give him a son in his old age and to bless him above all people He held unto the promise and continued to follow God un the promise was fulfilled even when it was obvious by human standard and speculation that such was no mo possible We are Abraham's children today by faith God equally expects us to put implicit and ardent faith and trus in His promises to us as well as all the blessings in His word -the Bible Rom 4.17-21. How much do we trust God today to fulfil all His good promises to us? God did not fail thos who followed and served Him in the past neither will He us. 

The best way to demonstrate to God that you believe and trust Him lies in your ability to obey and do a He asks you to do without wavering. Read Hebrew 11 you will discover that it requires strong faith to walk with and please God. The list is full of people that displayed extraordinary faith in order to achieve greatness in their walk with God God's ways have always been rough yet as many as lock unto Him will always said through with great testimonies. Jesus told the Jews who claimed Abraham to be their father saying, if Abraham were your father, ye will do the works of Abraham John. 8:39. In other word like father take son. We should follow the footprints of obedience that Abraham followed. He lived by faith. Are wil living by faith in all circumstances

CONCLUSION
Apostle Peter said "Humble yourselves therefore under the Almighty hand of God; that He may exalt you in due season 1Pet. 5.6. Whatever you want to get from God must be by faith Without faith, no one can get anything from Him Let us follow the footsteps of our Father of faith, Abraham, by obediently following our God to a successful end. The just must fire by Faith
